It has been painted all white since we dined in April.
On the Sunday in April my sister, her son, and I had lunch immediately after Church. My sister ordered fried shrimp, baked potato, and a salad. She said it was good, crisp, and tasted the way she liked it. Her son had ordered a similar meal, and he, too had no complaints.
I thought I would try the crab stuffed flounder. It sounded quite good according to the description. It came with two sides so I ordered a salad and a baked potato. The salad was okay with Italian dressing and so was the potato. However, the flounder turned out to be 2 pieces each about 3 inches square with AT MOST 3 tiny pieces of crab!! It was a pathetic excuse for a meal from a place like Red Lobster which prides itself on serving great seafood.
I called the waitress over to look at the measly portion of broiled flounder with such a small amount of Crab Meat. The flounder looked as though it had hardly been cooked. She said she would tell the manager. He came in less than five minutes to hear my complaint. I told him exactly what I thought. “How can you serve something like this that is so totally different from its description?”
He apologized. What else could he say? There must have been others before me who experienced the same disappointment. Why did he not correct this fiasco? He did allow me to choose a dessert for which I didn’t pay. It will be another 3 years before I go back there.
