My sister and I, again, had brunch after church and this time at The Colonial Diner in Woodbury.  We were in time for their Sunday Brunch for which the menu is displayed above.  There is more to the menu, but this is the only page I photographed.  I did it to show you that choices range from Gluten-Free options to traditional dishes such as Ham Steak and Eggs.  They also offer a Mimosa or Sangria for $2.99.  (They were free not too long ago.)

The Diner is easy to get to by going North on Broad Street (Hwy. 45 N.) in Woodbury until you see its rounded sign above the building painted in black and white stripes.

There are daily specials displayed on two chalkboards one sees inside the entrance.  The bakery case is located at the front of the diner next to the register, and there is a full bar behind it.

I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs with the eggs to be served over-easy.  The eggs were just eggs to be salted and peppered to taste.  The Corned Beef Hash had little taste and there was twice as much as I could possibly eat.  The Home Fries were also not well seasoned and had a crispy outside crust with the inside barely cooked and tasteless.  There were enough Home Fries to bring home for a side dish for myself and my husband!

My sister ordered a cup of the Vegetable Soup.  She said it was lukewarm and had no flavor.  Both of us like our soups steaming hot.

I give The Colonial Diner 3 and 1/2 plates.
