My daughter was married on Nov. 17, 2018. It was a beautiful wedding with both families and friends rejoicing in their beautiful union. The night before we had the rehearsal dinner at Vecchia Osteria in Newtown, PA.
The food was Excellent! We were about 20 people sitting at a table you see in the picture above. It is a BYOB restaurant so the bride and groom provided wine for all who wanted to drink. Some of us enjoyed ourselves immensely!!
The antipasti as well all the food were served in large plates or platters along the length of the table with one platter for every six people. It did not look like there would be enough to go around, however, there was food left over! All the dishes from the antipasti to the dessert plates were pleasing to the pallet; the cheeses, seafood, plates of pasta, meats, salads, desserts were all delicious. It is one place I wish I could visit often. The children enjoyed their own foods from plates passed among them.
The wait staff was professional, courteous, polite, and very willing to please.
Vecchia Osteria deserves 5 plates!!!
