The Seven Stars Diner is a usual after-church brunch place for me and my sister. The food is good and most of the time it is very good.
One reason we frequent the diner so often is that although the parking lot is almost full, there is always a short wait time to be seated. It has recently been remodeled and now has seating for more patrons.
This seating includes seats and booths surrounding a full bar in the middle of the diner with a separate room in the back that has only tables and chairs.
I do enjoy their Smoked Salmon Platter with a Toasted Bagel and Cream Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onion Slices, Kalamata Olives and Capers. We have also ordered pancakes, omelets, burgers and fries, and even meatloaf. The burgers are made in the kitchen and never have I had one that tasted of a freezer. If there is any complaint at all, it is that there is usually too much food. We often wind up taking home leftovers.
There are many people meaning there is also a lot of noise from the waiters and waitresses, customers, and busboys clearing tables. When we want someplace a little quieter, we opt for a smaller restaurant.
Their bakery case is always full of delicious looking cakes and pastries which is at the front door of the diner. People waiting to be seated are usually 2 to 3 deep in front of the 3 cases.
